Comic 89 - Up for chatting?

Probably not.

I finished the Kid Icarus Uprising game pretty quick, but then instead of working on this page for last week, I decided to edit all 88 previous pages for the book and I have to say that even as just a half-baked PDF with placeholders for bonus content, It looks pretty good. Like, if you're a fan of this comic, it's gonna be pretty rad! If otherwise you think this comic is a terribly-planned heap of bad storytelling, then it's gonna be a pretty rad tome of bad storytelling. :D

Updates will continue to be irregular for a while as I work on the book and continue to look for fulltime work and stuff. It's kind of bothering me that for the past eleven months, I've applied for work in artist positions, desktop publishing (where i have actual professional experience), clerical work, various medical offices AND retail slavery (including during the past holiday season) and there's not a single employer out here in NYC that'll hire me for anything except for my previous employer but only at 7 hours a week. :|

BTW, I'm always taking commissions. Now I have a page for them with easy payment access!

Yes, you "finished" Kid Icarus Uprising.
Two words:
Weapon fusing.
It consumed hours of my time, and I'm not OCD, but I think that mechanic might unlock some hidden error node in my mind.
Where minutes become hours, and my time is gone.

Yeeees. Thankfully weapon fusing is something I can wedge in between breaks and things, whereas plowing through the storyline is more attention-grabbing.

I want to make a stronger weapon for higher-intensity chapters. Got a nice Gaol blade with 4.5 stars ranged and 4 stars melee, but doesn't have too many perks, meanwhile I used these Eyetrack Orbitars through more than half of the game and I love how the explosions kill enemies around the target but the overal power is kind of weak at intensities over 5.
