I definitely wouldn't call this a regular thing. Nobody's really supposed to lay a finger on him, but at the same time he uses that to his advantage: getting away with rebellion and being immune to words.
Geno thinks he can push buttons and be absolutely untouchable.
Riley felt a need to bring him down to planet earth because this is ridiculous.
There's no justification in any of this, though. This is something that needs working out, preferably when neither of them are irritated.
April 2022 - Updates are still on a spontaneous schedule. I did an every-Thursday update for a while,
but I'm now entering my fourth month of Mandatory Overtime at work, plus I'm also working on commissions and
Immortal Fool's finale.
Chapter 6 of HiEx is running a bit long, but it is ending soon, and there will be some additional pages, not quite chapter 7,
that will wrap up the storyline of the second book. Will I do another Kickstarter for that? I dunno. I'll figure things out when the time comes.
