Back in April, my Cintiq Companion (the computer that I currently draw these pages with) had a power jack failure and I had to get it replaced via a three-week mailing process. Some of you remember that, right?
Last weekened, it happened again, and the device is currently in transit back to Wacom.
The good news is that I've managed to draw this page and half of next week's page (wrapping up this ill-planned chapter) before packing up the computer and I was able to color it via my sony tablet, which is very difficult due to difference in pen pressure and its shitty sense of palm rejection, but I am somehow managing. I did forget to add shading on the characters, though. Whoops!
Next page has a high chance of being posted on time next weekend, and then I plan on hiatusing for 2-3 weeks to add the last few pages to the book (which will be marker-drawn bonus pages), update this website, and plan up chapter five.
April 2022 - Updates are still on a spontaneous schedule. I did an every-Thursday update for a while,
but I'm now entering my fourth month of Mandatory Overtime at work, plus I'm also working on commissions and
Immortal Fool's finale.
Chapter 6 of HiEx is running a bit long, but it is ending soon, and there will be some additional pages, not quite chapter 7,
that will wrap up the storyline of the second book. Will I do another Kickstarter for that? I dunno. I'll figure things out when the time comes.
